Students, employers and faculty members work together to make our internship program a "win-win" proposition for everyone...
There's so much to learn by serving our community! We are here as a resource for students, faculty, staff and community members...
We've just received several great opportunities for part-time AmeriCorps positions with the Lancaster County United Way. Community needs assessment, public relations, and program coordination are just some of the areas these internships touch on. Communications, Business and Sociology majors might find this to be a perfect fit. Please contact the Internship Office for more information.
The Internship Office and Volunteer Central have moved from Lyle Hall to the Bedford House, just across the street from SMC. Come and visit us in our new home!
Now you know - if it's about volunteering, come and see us! You may be looking for support for community service, or service-learning, or community-based learning; it's all supported right here through Volunteer Central.
Formerly known as the CAP Office, we are now a part of the new Civic and Community Engagement and Research Project, developed to foster, focus and coordinate civic and community engagement and research at MU. We're still here to provide an outstanding internship program and support students, faculty and community organizations with community service opportunities and support for service-learning.
