Master of Education Degree in Language and Literacy
The Department of Elementary and Early Childhood Education offers programs in literacy
education leading to Reading Specialist Certification and Reading Supervisor Certification for both
elementary and secondary teachers who possess an Instructional Certificate in Pennsylvania. In
addition, a master's degree in Language and Literacy Education offers the student the opportunity
to participate in original research and experimental programs in this field.
