Having trouble starting your paper? Are you unsure if your paper makes sense? Do you have questions, or just need someone to look at your paper before handing it in?

The Chryst Writing Center at MU is here for you! At the Chryst Writing Center, you will meet one-on-one with a trained peer tutor who will help you with your paper.

The Chryst Writing Center can be found in room 109B in Chryst Hall, right next to the Infirmary.

Students can sign up for tutoring sessions by calling the center or dropping in and making an appointment. By making an appointment, you are guaranteed a half-hour long session. You may be able to find a tutor who has taken the class your paper is for and schedule with him or her. 

Students may also simply drop by. If there is a tutor available, you can have your session immediately. If there are no tutors available, you can make an appointment for later in the day. These sessions are on a first come, first serve basis. Sessions typically last a half hour, but can be extended if time allows and if necessary.

By following the link to Online Tutoring, students may submit their papers through email. A tutor will read your paper and mail you feedback. Online Tutoring is not as thorough as coming to the center for a session, but it can be quicker and more convenient.
