elcome to the Office of the Provost and Vice President for Academic Affairs! 
As second-in-command to the President of the University and Chief Academic Officer, the Provost has overall leadership and general administrative responsibility for the University's planning process, academic programs and related support services, including faculty development, promotion, tenure and sabbatical leaves, academic budgeting, admissions, research, curricular planning and assessment. The Deans of the three Schools (Education, Humanities and Social Sciences, and Science and Mathematics) report to the Provost. In addition, the Associate Provost, Assistant Provost, and the Director of the Library also report directly to the Provost.
