Master's Degree
You should use the master's degree application process if you:
- have completed a bachelor's degree from a regionally accredited four-year college or university in the United States or its equivalent from a similar institution abroad
- are seeking admission to a master’s degree program
- are seeking admission to BOTH a master’s degree program AND a certification program
- are seeking a second master’s degree
- are seeking re-admission to a master’s degree program after having been previously admitted
Post Baccalaureate Certification
You should use the post-baccalaureate certification application process if you:
- have completed a bachelor's degree from a regionally accredited four-year college or university in the United States or its equivalent from a similar institution abroad
- are seeking post-baccalaureate certification, ONLY
Post Master's Certification
You should use the post-master's certification application process if you:
- have completed a master’s degree from a regionally accredited four-year college or university in the United States or its equivalent from a similar institution abroad
- are seeking post-master’s certification ONLY
Non-degree
You should use the non-degree application process if you:
- have completed a bachelor's degree from a regionally accredited four-year college or university in the United States or its equivalent from a similar institution abroad
- are undecided about a graduate area of specialization
- are not interested in a master's degree program
- are seeking to earn permanent teaching certification (Instructional II)
- are interested in a graduate-level institute or educator workshop
- are completing work for transfer to another institution (transient)
International Students
You should use the international student application process if you:
- are not a United States citizen or a permanent resident in the United States
- have completed a bachelor's degree from a regionally accredited four-year college or university in the United States or its equivalent from a similar institution abroad

Requirements
While most graduate programs offer rolling admissions (no official deadline), several programs have one or more application deadlines and additional requirements.

Important Dates
The following programs have firm application deadline dates of :
January 15 for admission beginning in summer/fall
June 1 for admission beginning in fall (on space available basis)
October 1 for admission beginning in winter/spring

Special Education
The following program has an application deadline date of :
February 1 (or until full) for admission beginning summer
Social Work
(one deadline only)
All other graduate and certification programs accept applications on a rolling basis (i.e. no official deadline). However, applicant should use the deadlines stated above as a guideline.
