Where did you go to high school?
I went to Exeter Senior High School in Reading, Pa.

Why did you choose to come to Millersville University?
I wanted to be a physics teacher and Millersville University has one of the best education programs in Pennsylvania.

What is your year and major?
I am a junior majoring in physics education.

What group activities, teams, and organizations are you involved in on campus?
I am in the University Honors College.  I am the current president of the Society of Physics Students.  I also go out to schools and do physics demonstrations with the Physics Demo Team.

How did you find out about the Hoffman Endowment Award?
I first heard about it from a professor.

Why did you decide to apply for the award?
It is an award for students in the University Honors College majoring in science.

What requirements and characteristics had to be fulfilled for the award?
It was based mostly on academic performance and some community service taken into account.

How did you find out that you had received this award? How did you react?
I found out in an email.  I was very excited.  It is nice to be recognized for the hard work I do here at Millersville.

How will this award benefit your education?
It will help a bit financially and also in a resume when I apply for a job.  Finances are a constant battle throughout the college career.  Every bit helps.
