Early Childhood Education
What high school did you attend?
Cherokee High School.
Why did you choose Millersville University?
I chose Millersville because of the fantastic education program. I want to become a teacher after school, and coming here will make that possible and give me amazing opportunities.
Where is your favorite place to be on campus?
My favorite place on campus would have to be the library, right outside of Starbucks during wintertime. It is pretty quiet and you can sit, work on homework and drink some coffee, or just hang out and catch up with friends.
What is one thing you love about Millersville?
I really love the pond and the swans. It is really pretty all year round.
What clubs/activities are you involved with?
UAB (University Activities Board).
What is your favorite weekend activity?
I really enjoy hanging out with my friends, going to the movies, window shopping in downtown Lancaster on First Friday and going to the mall.
Where/what is your favorite place to visit in the Lancaster area (off campus)?
Rachel's Cafe & Creperie, Park City Mall, and the Fractured Prune (Editor’s note: Fractured Prune recently closed).
What was one aspect of Millersville that stood out to you/surprised you?
The professors really do care about you and want to help you as long as you go and ask for help. They want to see you succeed and help you go farther in life as long as you make the effort, too.
List any additional comments you want to have included in your bio (internships/co-ops/etc.):
I work as a tour guide on campus, which everyone should consider doing. It’s a great job and you meet amazing people!
