Students will be given an Orientation Group Number and Designated Training Room upon arrival

9:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m. Orientation Check-In for Residential Students & Family Members
All students must check-in to receive their Orientation Group Number and other important materials.

There are several lunch options for you to choose from here on campus and in the immediate area.

12:00 noon – 3:30 p.m. Placement Testing
Students who did not take placement tests during the spring or summer must take placement tests today.

Information Technology employees will be available in the Residence Halls to assist with internet set up.

*Please note, if you are a Commuter student who also needs to take Placement Exams, you must arrive and check-in before 12:00 noon.

Consider the Common Reading Program an introduction to academic life at Millersville University. As a group, students will discuss the book, “The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-time” by Mark Haddon with their orientation leader, faculty, staff and members of the University administration.

One of the most important things you can learn when coming to college is how to keep yourself safe in your environment. Chief Silcox, Chief of University Police, will lead this session aimed to inform students of safety procedures on campus.
