Marauders men’s soccer ranked nationally

For the first time in program history, the Millersville men's soccer team was ranked #1 on national poll at the close of the regular season. For the second straight season, the Millersville men's soccer team is headed to the NCAA Division II Tournament. The Marauders were selected as the No. 2 seed from Super Region 4 and will open up the 2009 Atlantic Regional against No. 3 seed Charleston (W.Va.) on Friday afternoon, Nov. 13, at 2 p.m. in Slippery Rock.

The Princeton Review ranked Millersville University 92 for the school’s performance as an environmentally aware institution. Hundreds of schools were reviewed on a scale where 60 is the lowest possible score and 99 is the highest.

Meteorology Student Becomes Editor

What began as a high school hobby for Joe Moore, a junior meteorology major at Millersville University, soon turned into a college part-time job. As former editor of the Hatboro-Horsham High School newspaper, Moore, is now editor-in-chief of the University’s student newspaper, The Snapper.
