Alumni Affinity Groups
Were you once involved in a sorority, fraternity, or athletic team or club? The Alumni Office hosts several affinity reunions annually that offer the opportunity to reconnect with former teammates and fellow club members as well as to meet others who were once involved. Check out the Alumni Events Calendar for current programs offered or contact the alumni office to organize a future affinity reunion.
Affinity communities are groups of alumni, students, and friends of the University who are drawn together based on common interests and shared experiences. Interacting in person and virtually, our communities encompass all divisions, graduating classes, regions and professions and reflect a remarkable diversity of concerns and activities. Here's what becoming part of an MU affinity group means to you and your fellow community members:
- Connecting and networking opportunities
- Professional and personal development
- Education and exploration
- Information and resources sharing
- A sense of community and shared values
Examples of Alumni Affinity Groups include, but are not limited to:
- Young Entrepreneurs
- Former Campus Radio Station Jocks
- Athletic Teams
- Residence Halls
- Alumni Working in the Federal Government
- Women in Leadership
- Student Senate
