3:00 p.m. McIlwaine Master Class, Rodney Mack. Biemesderfer Concert Hall, Winter Visual and Performing Arts Center. Free with reservations: 717-871-5926.

7:00 p.m. Marauder Pep Rally. Pucillo Gymnasium. Come join your fellow Marauders for the huge spirit kick-off event for Homecoming week. Meet the fall sports teams, dance groups, marching band, cheerleaders and so much more. Free.

7:00 p.m. Anna Funk Lockey Lecture. Lehr Room, Bolger Conference Center, Gordinier Hall. Dr. Freeman Hrabowski, president of University of Maryland Baltimore County and consultant on science and math education to national agencies, universities and school systems. He was recently named by President Obama to chair the President’s Advisory Commission on Educational Excellence for African Americans. Open to the public. Free.

10:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m. Alumni and Friends Golf Outing. Crossgates Golf Course, 1 Crossland Pass, Millersville. This outing is open to alumni, faculty, staff and friends. Price: $125 per golfer. Click here to register.

Honoring the seven 2014 Athletic Hall of Fame inductees: Robert Coyne '86 (football); Kimberly Davis '90 (lacrosse); Priscilla Jennings Landis '09 (track and field/cross country); Paula Light '93 (women's basketball); Lyman Reifsnyder '42 (men's basketball)--posthumously; Roger Smith '89 (football) and Curtis Wiley '94 (wrestling). 7:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m. 2014 Homecoming Pig Roast. Biemesderfer Stadium Parking Garage. Includes: pulled pork on a bun, chips, coleslaw, cookie and a drink. This is a fundraiser sponsored by MU women’s swimming and basketball teams. 8:30 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. University Store Open for MU apparel and insignia items. Student Memorial Center.

9:00 a.m. Millersville Community Parade “Wonders of the Sea.” Herr Avenue, Landis Avenue and N. George Street, Millersville. The 18th annual parade includes over 2300 participants along a two-mile route. One of Lancaster County's largest parades, with 15-20 varied music groups (i.e., Millersville University and high school bands, drum and bugle corps, bagpipers, U.S. Armed Forces bands, a steel drum band, a Philadelphia Mummers band), floats, impersonators, mascots/inflatable costumed characters, fire and emergency groups, twirlers, antique vehicles and more.  Toys for Tots will be on hand to collect new toys from parade spectators for less fortunate children in Lancaster County. Grand Marshal: Richard Moriarty ‘72, mayor of Millersville and MU alumnus. Free.

9:00 a.m. Annual Baseball Alumni Home Run Derby. Cooper Park Baseball Stadium. Baseball alumni are invited back to take a shot at winning the homecoming home run derby sponsored by Coach Jon Shehan and the MU Baseball Team. Jon Shehan: 717-871-5736 or jonathan.shehan@millersville.edu  Free.

11:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m. Annual Alumni Tailgate Zone Tent. High School Avenue, between the Sugar Bowl Pizzeria and Biemesderfer Stadium).  Stop in before the big Homecoming football game (game time: 2pm). This event is open to all alumni, faculty, staff and friends.  Free.

11:00 .am. – 2:00 p.m. Marauder Zone. Byerly parking areas (adjacent to Biemesderfer Stadium).  Join in on the fun for a family friendly event featuring student organizations, games, student performances and other entertainment. Free.

11:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. Kappa Delta Phi Reunion. Armstrong House. All sisters of the Kappa Delta Phi Sorority are invited to drop in at this event. Wear your letters and bring your pledge books, paddles, photos and memorabilia to celebrate. Price: $15.

11:30 a.m. Parade Volunteers and Friends Luncheon. Lehr Room, Bolger Conference Center, Gordinier Hall. This buffet luncheon is open to all parade volunteers, alumni and friends after the parade and before the football game. Price: $15. Click here to register.

Noon – 3:00 p.m. New Residence Hall Open House. South Village (120 Centennial Drive). Alumni, faculty and staff are invited to get a glimpse of the new residence halls on campus. Also: the Residence Hall Brick Giveaway. Alumni can stop by and pick up a brick from their former residence hall as a memento of their student time at MU from Hobbs (aka Tanger), Lenhardt and Burrowes Halls. Limited number of bricks are available. Free.   

Noon - Fourth Annual Housing and Residential Programs Alumni Reunion. Great Room,  South Village (120 Centennial Drive). 12:30 p.m. – 2:00 p.m. Science & Mathematics Alumni Gathering. Breezeway of Caputo Hall. Science and Mathematics alumni are invited for dessert and beverages. Free.

1:00 p.m. Wrestling Luncheon Reunion. Chryst Field, Biemesderfer Stadium. Current wrestlers and their families and wrestling alumni are invited to attend this picnic before the Homecoming football game. Prince St., Lancaster). Ticket offices are open Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. - 4:30 p.m. The Winter Center Box Office will be opening one hour prior to showtime.
