In his 11th year at Millersville, Dr. Wimer is the Athletic Training Program Consultant. He received his BS in Athletic Training/Health Education from Slippery Rock University, a Master's degree from Ohio University, an Educational Specialist degree from Marshall University, and a Ph.D. from the University of Dayton. He earned NATA certification in 1989.
