  • Tom has      35 years of management experience in the information technology sector working      for IBM, an IBM business partner, and several other small medium businesses.      Held various positions in his career ranging from Marketing Representative      to Marketing Manager to Vice President of Sales.  Experienced in reporting directly to Chief Executive Officer, and      has developed marketing and sales organizations. The focus of one company      was primarily in the area of the pharmaceutical industry supply chain. In the      IBM Business Partner Channel, he reported directly to the president and      owner of the company. Responsibilities included staffing and managing the      sales team, employee compensation, annual evaluations, and implementing      incentive programs. He managed the IBM Business Partner relationship which      included negotiating discounts, compliance with IBM Business Partner rules      and regulations, sales and technical certifications, providing IBM      education, meeting IBM’s revenue quota, and serving as the liaison with      the technical staff. The sales team was responsible for generating revenue      through the sales of IBM hardware, system software, application software,      and consulting/programming services; selling to customers ranging from      small companies to Fortune 500 companies. Helped grow the company workforce      from 15 to 350 billable employees in fifteen years.
