Photos also capture the beginnings of the photographer's Landis Valley Museum and its vast collection of artifacts. Richman, who resides in Bainbridge, Pennsylvania, is Professor Emeritus of American Studies and History at Penn State Harrisburg and is currently Director of the Heirloom Seed Project at Landis Valley Village and Farm Museum. Beisert lives in Philadelphia and Washington, D.C. and is an architectural historian.
