Description: Rescheduled from an earlier date.
Two one-act comedies "Ages Ago" by W.S. Gilbert and "The Lover" by Harold Pinter will now be performed on June 30.
Information about "Ages Ago":
In the haunted Scottish Castle of Glen Cockaleekie, where the title deed to the castle is only found once every hundred years, Sir Ebeneezer Tare has taken over the castle and refuses to let his niece Rosa marry her poor suitor, Columbus. The housekeeper, has second sight. She tells how the ghosts of the past will return for the 100th anniversary to choose the new owner of Glen Cockaleekie. That night, the paintings of the castle's former owners come to life and step out of their frames. However, they are all longing for one thing: true love-or is it just lust? Discover the love of your afterlife with W.S Gilbert's tale of horror, laughter and love in this wicked play written in 1869.
Information about "The Lover":
Can role playing keep a marriage or relationship alive? What roles should he and she play? Or is it playing? Or is it real? Pinter is the master of answering questions with questions as the characters ignite their love. A provocative farce for free-thinking audiences! The 1962 play is, from the pen of Harold Pinter: the master of innuendo!
