Description: On October 4, the Citamard Players at Millersville University will perform a play entitled Despite These Marks chronicling the effects of the HIV stigma in America. This performance will be held in Rafters Theatre, Dutchers Hall at 8 p.m.
About the Play: Written by Millersville University students Nicole Weerbrouck and Josh Dorsheimer, Despite These Marks gives an in-depth look at the impact of the HIV-stigma through devised theatre. The piece views the stigma from the perceptive of today and also discusses the stigma throughout the disease's history.
Ticket Information: This event is open to the public. Tickets cost $5 for general admission and $2 for students and seniors. Tickets may be purchased online, at MUTicketsOnline.com, at the Student Memorial Center Ticket Office (Room 103), by calling the Ticket Office at 717-872-3811 or at the Ware Center Box Office (42 N. Prince St., Lancaster). Ticket Offices are open Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. - 4:30 p.m.
