Description: This year, Millersville University will celebrate its homecoming weekend with a number of events from Friday, October 25 to Saturday, October 26.
Friday, October 25
Homecoming Alumni and Friends Golf Outing - Open to alumni, faculty, staff and friends. Registration will be at 7:30 a.m. and there will be a shotgun start at 8:30 a.m. and the format of play will be scramble. Fee includes: continental breakfast, greens fee, cart, beverage and snack at the turn, dinner on the pavilion and prizes for closest to the pin, longest drive and straightest drive.

Class of 1963 Campus Tour - Meet at the Student Memorial Center and see how the campus has changed yet retained its traditional beauty during this special riding tour. This event is free but reservations are required.
Class of 1963 Meet and Mingle - 50th Anniversary classmates and guests will kick off their reunion weekend with a tour of campus and a casual reception at the Campus Grille, Gordinier Hall. Tickets cost $15.
Saturday, October 26
Millersville Community Parade, "Halloween Comes to Millersville - The Millersville Community parade, which is one of Lancaster County's largest, will include 20 bands, floats, community groups, university organizations, a tribute to the men and women who serve our country in the armed forces and auxiliary services, antique cars and more. A costume contest will be held this year, as well as competition for marching/instrumental units, floats, etc. The two-mile parade winds through the Borough of Millersville, ending near the Student Memorial Center on James Street. The parade committee is working with the Toys for Tots Program to collect toys from parade spectators on parade day to donate to less fortunate children in Lancaster County. Alumni Tailgate Zone Tent - All alumni and families welcome! Kids activities, live DJ, door prizes, hot dogs, beer, and more! Stop by and register for the weekend, pick up reunion materials and spin the prize wheel. Come over to the tent anytime before the game! Free; reservations required. Tent will be located outside of the stadium gates along High School Avenue near the Sugar Bowl.
Parade Volunteers, Alumni and Friends Homecoming Luncheon - After the parade and before the game, head on over to Gordinier for a scrumptious buffet including caesar salad, chicken corn soup, chicken marsala, marinated flank steak, vegetarian lasagna, green bean almondine, oven roasted potatoes, chocolate chip/sugar cookies, brownies, lemon bars, assorted rolls, assorted soft drinks/iced tea, coffee, water. This luncheon is sponsored and partially subsidized by the MU Alumni Association. This event costs $15.
Marauder Wrestling Picnic - On behalf of Coach Roberts and Assistant Coach Walizer, you are invited to attend a picnic for wrestlers, parents, alumni and friends at Biemesderfer Stadium. This event cost $14.
Football vs. Lock Haven at Chryst Field, Biemesderfer Stadium. Marauder fans of all ages are welcome to attend this game!
Campus Tour - If you haven't been back to campus in the while take a break from homecoming and relax on an air conditioned bus to see how much the campus has changed since you graduated. Learn about present and future construction projects. Visits to older buildings and sites on campus are also part of the tour. Registration required. Buses will leave from the SMC. Registration is required.
Sigma Tau Gamma Alumni Reunion - An annual event! Join fellow brothers at a casual reception featuring an "All American BBQ" and refreshments. For more information, visit www.sigtau4life.org or visit their Facebook page at facebook.com/sigmataugamma. This event will be held at Gordinier Hall and costs $20.
Athletic Hall of Fame Ceremony & Dinner - Reception at the Ware Center in downtown Lancaster begins at 5:30 p.m. Dinner will begin at 6:30, followed by the induction ceremony. This year six individuals will be inducted into the Hall of Fame: Jennifer Yoder Ames '03, women's soccer; Bill Bailes '59, volunteer coach; Drew Folmar '01, football; Scott Highley '89, football; Cynthia Merrill '92, women's tennis; Greg Testa '07, men's basketball. 1963 Reunion, Reception, Class Photo, Dinner - All members of the 1963 class are invited back to campus for a reception, dinner and open bar. Event will be held in the Kline & University Rooms inside Gordinier Hall and costs $40.
Student Senate 100th Anniversary Reunion- All alumni who served on Student Senate in the past are invited to attend this reception after the football game. Meet fellow senators and mingle with current students who serve on the Student Senate today. This event costs $25. Class of 1973 Reunion, Reception, Dinner - All members of the class of 1973 are invited back to celebrate the 40th anniversary of their graduation from Millersville University. This event will be held at the Campus Grille in Gordinier Hall and costs $25.
