Additional Information

Adam is beginning his first year as a full-time Graduate Assistant at the CDRE obtaining his Masters of Science in Emergency Management.  He graduated in 2017 with a B.S. in Meteorology and a B.A. in French from Ohio University in Athens, Ohio.  He was an active member in his meteorology chapter, and plans to become involved with other organizations like this while attending Millersville.  Adam spent the summer of 2016 as a Student Volunteer at the National Weather Service in Charleston, West Virginia.  While there, he created and headed a COOP weather observation site for the university and learned valuable skills in forecasting and public relations during his time at the office.  The summer of 2017 brought Adam to the Northern Great Plains as an Intern Meteorologist working for the North Dakota Atmospheric Resource Board in Bismarck, where he forecasted for pilots with the state's Cloud Modification Project.  He also volunteered at the National Weather Service Bismarck office to receive upper air weather balloon experience.  He also completed an internship with the Lancaster County Emergency Management Agency in the fall of 2017. While not looking at the weather or in school, Adam enjoys traveling, learning about different languages and cultures, and relaxing with friends and family.
