Dr. Kirsten Bookmiller is a faculty member in the Department of Government and Political Affairs at MU as well as the Director of Global Education and Partnerships for the university. Her teaching and research program is in the area of international humanitarian policy and law. She published an introductory text on the United Nations in 2008 and currently conducts research on international humanitarian responses by local emergency responders.
