Millersville University warmly welcomes the families and friends of our students to commencement at 10 a.m. on Saturday, May 2 in Biemesderfer Stadium on campus. You are a very important part of the success of our graduates, and we know you are excited about sharing this milestone in their lives.

You will find on this page and throughout this site links to all the information you will need, from directions and parking on campus, to ticket information. Please note that special needs seating is limited (only 1 ticket + companion per graduate). As such, please consider the alternate site for special needs guests or young children.

In December, commencement may be delayed if severe weather conditions make travel hazardous. Consult the Weather Information link for rain plan details.

02-17-2009

Anyone who will be walking in the Commencement procession must plan to wear flat shoes. Heels of any kind will damage the artificial turf on Chryst Field and are therefore prohibited. Compliance will be strictly enforced.

04-30-2009

A decision to move the ceremony indoors will be made only in the event of pre-existing SEVERE weather in Millersville; the decision will be made no later than 7:30 a.m. on Saturday. A notice will be posted on the MU homepage & carried on the radio/TV stations listed under ‘Weather Information.' Severe weather includes heavy rain or lightning.
