Dr. Lisa Schreiber has been a communication educator for nearly 20 years. She was awarded a Bachelor of Arts degree in interpersonal communication from Truman State University in Kirksville, Missouri, in 1989, and a Master of Arts degree from the University of Oklahoma in 1991. Her dissertation (December 2002), entitled, "Healing in Process: Communication Patterns in a Holistic Healing Community," was completed through the University of Nebraska-Lincoln. Dr. Schreiber has taught college courses on intercultural, interpersonal, gendered, organizational, and small group communication, in addition to public speaking. She was named Professor of the Year at Dana College in 2001-2002. In addition to her academic experience, Dr. Schreiber has been a trainer and consultant for a number of organizations such as ConAgra, Hitachi, Omaha Steaks, the State of Nebraska, Union Pacific, the American Cancer Society, the American Heart Association, the Open Door Mission, and United Way - CHAD.
