Counseling Center & Human Development

Welcome

Accredited by the International Association of Counseling Services (IACS)

The Counseling Center offers confidential assistance to Millersville University students who would like to be more effective in their academic, vocational and personal lives. This could involve examination of such areas/issues as personal values, interpersonal or family relationships, self-esteem and identity, career decision-making, motivation and improving academic performance.

Mission Statement

The primary purpose of the Counseling Center is to help students make the most of their college experience. This is accomplished by providing individual and group counseling for a variety of concerns, such as depression, anxiety, family problems, relationship and other problems. As a support service, we attempt to help students reach a greater level of self-understanding to enhance their abilities to make informed decisions concerning themselves, their academics, and their environment.
