Funding Opportunities
System Programs
The PASSHE system supports several annual grant programs. These programs are highly competitive, but can provide faculty and staff with a tremendous opportunity to kickstart research or create initiatives, improve the student experience , or create a better working environment.
Faculty Professional Development Council Grants - This program, established by the Board of Governors, encourages professional growth and development of System faculty as teaching scholars. The 2007-2008 RFP is closed but is available to provide guidance. Click here to go to the Faculty Professional Development Program web page for more resources and the 2008 awards
Programs in Support of Diversity and Equity – These grants support vital System-wide initiatives designed to achieve and promote diversity by serving the educational needs of historically underrepresented students, faculty and staff. A Request for Proposals for 2009-2010 programs was issued in January, 2009.
Economic Development Initiatives – The System currently supports two economic development initiatives. These are Entrepreneurial Leadership Centers and Planning & Feasibility for University Business Infrastructure. Millersville has received one of these awards in each of the last two years and is not eligible to reapply until August of 2009.
