If you would like to begin a degree program but haven’t yet been accepted into Millersville University, or if you are a degree candidate at another college or university, or if you have not yet completed an undergraduate degree but would like to earn college credit, you should consider registering for general credit. As a non-degree credit student you earn academic credit but are considered non-matriculated - not part of a degree program at the Millersville University. You receive a grade in each course and may request a transcript of record from the registrar’s office. For the most up-to-date information on tuition and fees, visit the Millersville University Bursar’s Office website.
If you are currently enrolled in a degree program outside of Millersville University, you should make a formal request to transfer credits earned from Millersville at your home school prior to registration.
You should seriously consider registering for non-degree credit: • if you wish to test your ability to handle college-level study; • if you intend to complete your education at the Millersville or elsewhere; • to qualify for a teacher’s salary increment; • to make up educational deficiencies (prerequisites for M.A., for example); • to fulfill a language requirement for graduate school; for job placement;
All non-degree credit registrations for nine (9) or more credits require the approval of an academic advisor. For more information on non-degree credit registrations, you may contact the admissions office to speak with an advisor. You may either send e-mail to firstname.lastname@example.org or call at +1-717-872-3257. If you are interested in applying to the various degrees and certificate programs offered by Millersville, you may contact an admissions representative: for graduate studies, email email@example.com; for undergraduate studies email firstname.lastname@example.org.
Admitted certificate students should consult directly with their program offices for registration procedures. Certificate candidates must also obtain their program’s approval for all course changes: including, withdrawals, add/drop, grade of “W,” and status changes. Permanent records are maintained for all certificate students, and transcripts are available. For the most up-to-date information on tuition and fees, visit the Millersville University Bursar’s Office website.
