One of the keys to an effective job search is your ability to develop your own personal brand that makes you stand out among other applicants.
A large part of your branding image is your resume and cover letter. Following are some simple resume/ cover letter guidelines:
- Translate and package your assets to fit the job
- Convey what you learned as well as what you did
- Quantify experiences
- Control your information by how it’s placed on the resume or in the cover letter
- Take credit for your contributions
