Washington House is the center of entrepreneurial activity at Millersville University. It houses both the Entrepreneurial Leadership Center as well activities surrounding the Entrepreneurial Minor. There are unique spaces for students and mentors to conduct entrepreneurial activities, whether you are an Entrepreneurial Minor or from another discipline.
The computer lab within Washington House provides basic computing needs for students, while providing a hub for entrepreneurship related software. Currently we have GoVenture “Entrepreneur” simulation software which is a highly visual and realistic business simulation that recreates the day-to-day experiences involved in starting and running a small business. The “GoVenture Experience” lets you experience what is is like to manage numerous business and personal tasks, make necessary compromises to reach both business and personal success, andl learn what you need to know to start a business in minutes, not months.
With a large conference table at the center of this room, it provides space for groups to work on projects, stage presentations, and build their dreams. It contains a SmartBoard, and is equipped for teleconferencing.
