Meet representatives from six colleges in person to answer questions for just about anything regarding college.
Attend any or all of the following sessions
• Everything you need to know about financial aid.
• Writing a Scholarship Essay that stands out!
• Find the right fit! What kind of school is the best match for you and your goals?
• Practical Money Skills—Financial Literacy and your Education.
• Career Assessment. Finding your dream job!
(Registration is required.)
• One on one help to complete your FAFSA form.
(Spanish and Vietnamese translators will be available.)
• Have your taxes completed by volunteers from the VITA program.
(Registration is required.)

Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) – 8AM-2PM
Receive individual, FREE help in completing the FAFSA form. The FAFSA is the first application students and/or parents must complete to be considered for most types of financial aid.

VITA (INCOME TAX PREPARATION)
The VITA Program offers free tax help to low-to-moderate-income (generally, $50,000 and below) people who cannot prepare their own tax returns. Certified volunteers help prepare basic tax returns and offer free electronic filing.

Career Assessment. Finding your dream job: Harrisburg Area Community College (HACC)
The Strong Interest Inventory (SII) is an interest inventory used in career assessment. Students will take this test to give insight into their interests, so that they may use it for educational guidance and have less difficulty in deciding on an appropriate career choice for themselves.

A general financial aid session covering the entire financial aid process. Topics include: What is financial aid, how to apply, educational costs, types, and sources of financial aid.

Writing a Scholarship Essay that stands out!: Franklin & Marshall / Penn State University
Filling out the scholarship application can be overwhelming but well worth the effort. Unfortunately, there is no generic form or format—each scholarship fund has its own methods and information needs. This session will assist students in identifying scholarships, gathering materials, filling out the application, preparing the package and writing a winning essay.

Whether you are an upcoming high school graduate or have taken a few years off to work/raise a family or consider your life plan College is an option for everyone. There are many types of post secondary institutions and even more ways to pursue a degree if you have the dream. This session will discuss all types of schooling including Trade and Business schools, Community College, four year institutions and private schools. In addition, it will cover online classes, taking college courses while in high school, accelerated degree programs, transfer options, applying experience towards college credit, and other ways you can fit schooling in with your daily life.

Practical Money Skills—Financial Literacy and your Education: Lancaster Bible College
Practical money skills for parents and students juggling educational costs. Whether you’ve accumulated debt, or are considering credit options, understanding the essentials of credit and debt management will keep you on solid financial ground. Creating a budget, saving (event with limited resources), managing your money and investing will be among the topics covered. Also, how parents of young children can begin to prepare for their education now by utilizing many of the resources available through tuition plans.
