Living Learning Community
"Live and learn” isn’t just a clever saying; it’s a way of life at Millersville University. To ease transition to campus and promote active learning, first-year students are grouped in on-campus residence halls with other students who are taking the same types of classes. The housing is designated for freshmen only. This way class content can be discussed, group assignment activities can be facilitated easily, and life-long friends can be made. Each living-learning community is guided, advised, and overseen by resident life student workers and faculty who play an integral role in easing the transition from home to campus and creating a vibrant atmosphere for learning through co-curricular and extra-curricular activities.
