"The mission of the graduate student association at Millersville University is to promote an exchange of ideas among graduate students and with faculty and administration. The primary responsibilities of the GSA are to provide guidance and assistance for graduate students, to promote opportunities for student-faculty interaction, and to provide a forum for the expression of graduate students' needs and concerns."
Activities & News
The GSA holds official meetings on the first Thursday of each month during the academic year. The meetings are held from 4:30 to 5:30 p.m. in Lyle Hall in the Graduate Studies Office.
Each academic year, the GSA holds periodic organizational meetings and sponsors a variety of functions. In past years, GSA events have included graduate student socials on campus and at nearby restaurants, guest speakers to campus, graduate student receptions before and after commencement exercises to honor graduate students receiving degrees, and community service projects.
New ideas and plenty of enthusiasm are always welcome. Any graduate student interested in getting more information about the GSA and upcoming programs should call (871-2492) or email Jessica Taylor, GSA president-elect and graduate assistant in Graduate & Professional Studies.
