Computer Coding Institute

Coding Confidence for School Teachers

Learning to code gives students and teachers new scope in every academic discipline and career. Coding encourages logical reasoning, and this exposure benefits the overall learning in every discipline. However, for teachers to integrate some aspect of coding into their curriculum, they need adequate support and means to learn coding. In this class, we will introduce teachers to a) coding platforms and, b) fundamentals of coding. The teachers will choose a lesson plan into which they will integrate coding, so that they have a teaching tool to take back to their classes.

This course is geared for elementary, middle, and high school teachers who are interested in a) learning some fundamentals of coding and, b) integrating some coding into their curriculum
