As CEO / President, Mike provides strategic leadership and "on site" mentoring for the Go-Lean-Six deployment team. He has over twenty years of experience in the process improvement field with organizations such as Harley-Davidson, Johnson Controls, Mack Trucks, BAE Systems and Volvo.

Dr. Jack Ogutu is Assistant Professor and Program Coordinator of the Occupational Safety & Environmental Health Program at Millersville University of Pennsylvania. He graduated from Auburn University in Alabama with a Doctorate in Industrial & Systems Engineering focused on Occupational Safety and Ergonomics. Dr. Ogutu is a professional member of the American Society of Safety Engineers and is certified as both an Associate Safety Professional (ASP) and Associate Ergonomics Professional (AEP).

From positioning yourself in the marketplace to easing the adoption of new ideas to lowering operational costs and making your business future-fit, this course will explore the business benefits of developing and implementing a sustainability-focused business management strategy. Participants will learn about the tools, resources, and indicators available to evaluate sustainability; conceptual frameworks for easing adoption of sustainable principles; and tactics for applying these to improve business operations, products and services.
Instructor: Mr. Chris Steuer
Mr. Chris Steuer is the Sustainability Manager for Millersville University. Mr. Steuer coordinates and advances Millersville’s sustainability initiatives and programs, including developing and implementing the University’s Climate Action Plan, incorporating sustainable management principles into University activities and operations, and increasing awareness of the University’s commitment to sustainability. Previously, Mr. Steuer was a Senior Sustainability Management Consultant for ICF International, wherein he helped developed sustainability programs for various public and private sector clients, including the National Park Service, Environmental Protection Agency, and U.S. House of Representatives. Mr. Steuer earned his B.S. in Earth Sciences and M.S. in Geography from the Pennsylvania State University.

Instructor: Dr. Sepideh Yalda
Dr. Sepideh Yalda is a Professor of Meteorology, the Director of the Millersville University’s Center for Disaster Research and Education (CDRE), and serves as the Coordinator for the Master of Science in Emergency Management (MSEM) program. Additionally, she serves as the Program Director for the undergraduate degree in Multidisciplinary Studies with a focus on Environmental Hazards and Emergency Management (MDST), and the Minor in Environmental Hazards and Emergency Management (EHEM). In her role as the CDRE Director, Dr. Yalda is involved in local, regional, and national efforts related to disaster education, mitigation, planning, and response. She earned her Ph.D. in Meteorology from Saint Louis University and is a member of the International Association of Emergency Managers, American Geophysical Union, and the American Meteorological Society.
