Dr. John McLarnon’s academic interests are U.S. political history, the Presidency and political parties, Pennsylvania political history, and the 1960s. He is the author of Ruling Suburbia: The Biography of the McClure Machine of Delaware County, Pennsylvania  (Newark: University of Delaware Press, 2004). He is the faculty advisor to the Millersville University History Club and is active in the faculty union.
