Showcase of Scholarship
The Showcase of Scholarship is an ongoing initiative to to recognize and acknowledge the faculty, staff, and students (both graduate and undergraduate) within the School of Humanities and Social Sciences for their work both inside and outside the classroom.
Each spring, the Dean's Office puts out a call for submissions of research projects (including applied,) faculty-student collaborations, creative projects, public performances, and civic engagement projects and activites. These projects are celebrated and recognized at a reception, where selected submissions are invited to give presentations about their projects.
Each year submissions to the Showcase of Scholarship are published in a booklet for the entire University Community. In addition, submissions are featured on the School of Humanities and Social Sciences' website.
