Research and Strategy Report for Lancaster County Clean Water Consortium
This research was performed by Dr. David DiRusso and four undergraduate students: Daniel Lipson, Julia Dunlop, Ashley Draper and Ariel Gehringer. This specific project began in September 2011 and continued until December 2011.
The Lancaster County Clean Water Consortium required in depth marketing research to determine the best way to persuade citizens of Lancaster County to protect watersheds in the area. Personal interviews, focus groups and an in depth survey of Lancaster county residents was performed and culminated in a thorough marketing research paper and a marketing strategy report.
This project offered critical insight on current perceptions of water quality in the area, concerns about clean water that Lancaster citizens had, as well as ways to encourage them to donate their time and money to the LCCWC. This research was presented to the LCCWC board of directors on December 6th and was received very favorably.
