Internship Information for Students

Ready?

Students must have completed 24 credits (12 at MU for transfer students), have at least a 2.0 G.P.A., and a declared major or minor to be eligible. Each department determines criteria and requirements that may go beyond the University minimum standards.

Here is a breakdown of the steps you'll need to take to find an internship and register for the credits. You'll need to do some legwork and it takes some time; you are essentially embarking on a professional job search. Still, 97% of the students who did an internship last year and completed the same journey said they would recommend an internship to other students. It's worth the effort!
