Account Generation

Student Account Types

Every MU student gets a Marauder email account that can be accessed through Pine or Webmail. In addition, students that take on-line courses, or courses that utilize on-line resources, get a WebCT account.

In order to activate a student email account, the student must complete an "Internet Account User Agreement Form." WebCT accounts are generated two weeks before the class is scheduled to begin.

Faculty/Staff Accounts

Every MU faculty and staff member has access to an Outlook email account. Faculty, staff, and academic advisors will be given a Banner Student account. Faculty and staff members with budget responsibility will be a Banner Finance account. These accounts are requested through the Help Desk (x2371) by calling or completing a "Faculty and Staff Account Request Form".
