Banner 7 is operational as of January 2, 2007.

This page is a resource for help with the new version of Banner. Perhaps the biggest change in Banner 7 is that you will be accessing Banner via your web browser. Please read through the topics below for important information for Banner 7.

A printed Banner 7 Pamphlet has been distributed to offices and will be available from the Help Desk. This pamphlet has valuable information on Banner 7 new features, important tips and helpful explanations of icons and shortcuts. Be sure to get a copy.

Supported Web Browsers

This version of Banner is Internet Native. You will be accessing Banner via your web browser. PC users will use Internet Explorer 6.0 [Internet Explorer 7.0 is not compatible with Banner 7]. Macintosh users will use the Safari 1.2 browser.

Getting Started - Log in procedures

For PC users log into Banner 7.

For MAC users log into Banner 7.

Once you are logged in, the underlying Web browser screen must remain open or the Banner form will close.

QUICK TIPS

• Screen Resolution -- The new web-based Banner screen is a larger user interface. You will need to set your screen resolution to 1024 X 768 pixels.
• Remember to keep the blank browser page open.
• If you're having problems, call the Help Desk at 871-2371.
• Make sure you get a copy of the Banner 7 Pamphlet for more tips.
