Dr. M. William Redmond, Jr.

Dr. M. William Redmond, Jr. has been employed by Millersville University for the past 26 years. Currently, Dr. Redmond serves as the Assistant Vice President for Academic Services and Pre-Collegiate Programs. Dr. Redmond is also the creator and Director of the nationally recognized and award winning Lancaster Partnership Program, which has been a cooperative effort of Millersville University, the School District of Lancaster, and fourteen sponsoring corporations for the past 21 years. Before assuming these positions, he served as the Assistant Director of Admissions and Coordinator of Minority Student Recruitment at Millersville University. In addition to his current responsibilities, Dr. Redmond serves on the President’s Advisory Leadership Council, Deans’ Council, and the Enrollment Management Work Team.
Further, campus-wide and community service involvement has included serving as the Chairperson of Millersville University’s Judicial Board from 1991-1998, NCAA Certification Officer, Chair of the Student Retention Committee, and member of the Faculty/Student Athletic Committee. Dr. Redmond also served on the Lancaster County Drug and Alcohol Commission’s Advisory Board for over six years.
As a Governor appointed member of the Board of Trustees at Thaddeus Stevens College of Technology for over 11 years, Dr. Redmond played a key role in the school’s recognition as an accredited college by the Middle States Association of Schools and Colleges.
Dr. Redmond earned his Bachelor of Science in Secondary Education and his Master of Education in Counselor Education from Millersville University. He also completed a Philosophical Doctorate degree in Administration and Leadership Studies/ Sociology- Human Services at Indiana University of Pennsylvania.
