Admissions - General Information

Millersville University offers quality music programs for music majors, music minors, and non majors. Faculty members are always available to answer questions and meet with prospective students for sample lessons, facility tours, or to discuss university life at Millersville. Admission Process

Entrance into the Department of Music requires acceptance by both the Admissions Office and the Department of Music. Acceptance by the Department of Music requires successful completion of all four components of the audition (Millersville University Music Department Audition Requirements).

Applying to both Millersville University and the Department of Music is essentially a three step process:

  • Acceptance into Millersville University
  • Acceptance into the Department of Music
  • Passing the audition process

Audition Dates and Information

2009-2010 Audition dates will be held on Tuesdays between 9AM and 1PM.

  • November 17
  • February 2, 9, 16 & 23
  • March 2, 16, 23 & 30
  • April 6 & 13
AUDITION INFORMATION

The MU Music Department audition dates are held on Tuesdays between 9am and 1pm. You may finish earlier depending upon your specific individual testing schedule. Auditions must be live due to the nature of the testing.
