Mr. Josh Decker will be starting his tenure as the director of the Millersville Marauder Marching Band during the upcoming 2010 season. He is currently in his eighth year of service as a music teacher for the Conestoga Valley School District. Josh has taught in many roles at CV, including serving as high school band director, teaching electronic music, music theory, AP music, introduction to fine arts and service as the band director at Fritz Elementary School. His current primary duties are to direct the high school women's chorus and middle school orchestra as well as to teach some middle school general music classes. He came to CV after first teaching for a year and a half as an elementary band director in the Pennsauken Township School District in Pennsauken, NJ. While there he also served as the assistant director to the high school marching band.

Mr. Decker received both his Bachelor's and Master's degrees in Music Education from West Chester University. While at West Chester as an alto saxophone major, he participated in various musical ensembles including marching band, symphonic band, wind ensemble, men's chorus, and concert choir.

Outside of CV Josh served for eight years (from 2001-2008) as the drum major for the current defending champion Reading Buccaneers Sr. Drum and Bugle Corps. This includes their 2005, 2006, 2007, and 2008 Undefeated D.C.A. World Championship seasons.
