Students (both first time college students as well as transfer students) do not need to register for New Student Orientation. All incoming new students with less than 30 credits who are attending full time are required to attend the Fall Orientation Program, therefore when a student pays his or her acceptance fee, he or she will automatically be registered for Fall New Student Orientation and the student’s fee bill will be charged appropriately.

Transfer Students with over 30 Credits:

Please note that transfer students entering the University with over 30 credits are welcome to attend Fall New Student Orientation, but must register in order to do so. Students that meet this criterion can register by calling the Orientation Office at 717-871-5553. There is a fee associated with Fall New Student Orientation: $290 for residential students and $215 for commuting students. This fee will be added to your fee bill if you choose to attend Fall New Student Orientation.
