Spring Orientation

Welcome to the 'Ville! As you being to chart your course to MU, one of the next milestones on your journey is to join us on campus for Orientation this winter. The faculty, staff and students would like to welcome you to our community and encourage you to explore Millersville both prior to, and after, your arrival.

This program focuses on services related to academics, student activities, residence life, off campus housing/commuter life, and much more. We have condensed the program into a brief one-day program for the convenience of students and family members.

Family Members are not required to attend this program; however if a member of your family would like to attend, there will be a family member schedule of events for the day. Click here to view the student and parent schedules for the day.

During Orientation, all students will take a math placement test. Science majors, and those undecided students interested in a science major, will also take a biology and/or chemistry placement test during Orientation. Transfer students should bring the entire packed of materials they received from the Registrars Office with them to Orientation. For more information, please visit the Placement Testing Website.

NOTE: It is imperative that transfer students register for classes PRIOR to attending Orientation. Please call the Department Chairperson of your intended major to get advisement assistance with registration.

Reservations

Reservations are necessary to attend this Orientation program. Please confirm your attendance by filling out the Registration form and indicating your full name, your major and the number of family members attending with you. If you have any questions regarding Registration, please contact the Orientation Office at 717-871-5553.

Check In

Students will check in at the Student Memorial Center Lobby beging at 8:00am. Students should bring with them their MU identification number and any information they have received from the University Registrar.
