PRESENTATIONS ANNOUNCED FOR MILLERSVILLE UNIVERSITY’S
28TH ANNUAL HOLOCAUST CONFERENCE
The 28th Annual Conference on the Holocaust and Genocide entitled, “Atrocities Outlawed, Human Rights Affirmed: The International Quest to Halt Genocide since 1948” will be held April 2-4 in Bolger Conference Center on the Millersville University of Pennsylvania campus.
The following presentations will be held during the conference:
- The Artistides de Sousa Mendes Lecture: “U.S. Foreign Policy in an Age of Terror: Can Genocide Be Stopped?" by Samantha Power, Kennedy School of Government at Harvard University on Wednesday, April 2 at 7 p.m.
- The Reynold Koppel Lecture: “Good Germans and the Holocaust: Lessons for Today" by Robert P. Ericksen, Pacific Lutheran University on Thursday, April 3 at 9 a.m.

"The Language of Genocide: Criminal Justice, History and Government" by Chair and Respondent: Steven Jacobs, University of Alabama; Paul R. Bartrop, Bialik College, Australia; Alex Alvarez, Northern Arizona University; Herbert Hirsch, Virginia Commonwealth University on Thursday, April 3 at 2 p.m.

Discussion and Film: An Evening with the Victims of Darfur by Megan Bremer, “What I Saw in Darfur: Thoughts on the Devil” followed by the film: “The Devil Came on Horseback” on Thursday, April 3 at 7 p.m.

The Jack R. Fischel Lecture: “Justice for Genocide and Crimes Against Humanity: Progress and Deterrence” by Louis Aucoin, Associate Research Professor, Fletcher School, Tufts University on Friday, April 4 at 9 a.m.
