Home Rule Public Forum at Millersville University

 What is home rule and what will it mean for Lancaster County?  Dr. Victor DeSantis, dean of graduate studies at Millersville University, will conduct a public forum on September 16, 2008 with the Lancaster County Government Study Commission. The discussion, titled  “Home Rule: A Constitution for Lancaster County,” will take place at 7:00 p.m. in the Student Memorial Center Multi-Purpose Room on campus.

The first topic will be the issue of self-governance, followed by a presentation on local self-governance from the Lancaster County Government Study Commission. There will be a question and answer session following the presentation.  This event, which is part of Constitution Day activities on campus, is free and open to the public.
