Discovery Channel's Jeff Lieberman
Jeff Lieberman, MIT scientist and co-host of the Discovery Channel's "Time Warp" is coming to Millersville.
 
Groundbreaking at the SMC
Groundbreaking ceremonies are scheduled for Saturday, October 24, at the Student Memorial Center (SMC), where a $35 million renovation and addition project has been underway since summer 2009.
Geopod
Millersville professors Drs. Gary Zoppetti, Sepideh Yalda and Richard Clark, recently received $350,000 from the NSF for "Geosciences Probe of Discovery."

PBS Screening
Millersville will present an advanced screening of PBS's Art: 21-Art in the Twenty First Century Series, Systems episode on Oct. 7 on campus.
 
Radical Jewelry Makeover Film Screening
The debut film screening of "Radical Jewelry Makeover: a traveling community mining and recycling project" at Binn's Park in downtown Lancaster will be held on September 4.
 
Library Cuts Hours
Library hours during the semester will be cut six hours and the winter session hours will be cut by 12 hours.
Cops on Bikes
The Millersville University Police Department recently received a $3,000 grant from the Lancaster Bike Club to purchase two new patrol bicycles.
 
Talking Intersection
When students come back this fall they will be greeted by a new signal at Frederick and George that will even "tell" them when to cross the street.
250th Logo Designed
The 250th Millersville anniversary now has an official logo - designed by a Millersville University student.
CASA Grant
Millersville University social work professors have received a 2009 National CASA New Program Development Grant for $40,000.
 
Cad Table and Software Donation
ICPF recently dedicated a Gerber Innovations DT9066 Samplemaker Table with 25 seats of ArtiosCAD software at Millersville University.
