  • Have a better understanding of the Millersville University student experience.
  • Be better able to take responsibility while enrolled at the University.
  • Assist you in understanding the purposes of higher education and the mission of the institution, as well as your responsibilities in our educational setting
  • Provide you with information about academic policies, procedures, requirements, and programs
  • Familiarize you with the campus and local environment
  • Meet new and current transfer students and start making connections.

Which program do I attend?

If you are a new college student or a student transferring fewer than 16 credits into Millersville University, you are required to participate in the New Student Orientation for commuters and residential students.

If you are a student transferring more than 16 or more credits to Millersville University, you are required to participate in the Transfer Student Orientation.

A MAP to get you started!

The online Marauder Arrival Program (MAP) is a guided tutorial for incoming students. The MAP is viewable on tablets and most mobile devices in addition to your computer. You can work at your own pace, stop, and continue at any time. Once completed, you may refer back to it at any point in your MU career! In addition to providing you with an overview of programs and services, the MAP will guide you through the steps to:

  • Activate your myVILLE and MAX accounts;
  • Access your Marauder email*;
  • Identify housing and roommate preferences;
  • Review financial aid;
  • View and pay your bill;
  • Setup parent or other users to access billing information;
  • View transcripts, transfer credits, and course schedules;
  • Complete health forms and online educational programming.

The MAP for students starting in the spring semester will be available starting November 1, 2018. Students will receive an email with the link to the website.To access the MAP, you will need your student identification number, referred to as an M# which can be found on your admission acceptance letter or your paid confirmation fee letter (available in your application account).

Students paying their confirmation fee prior to December 21, 2018 are required to complete the MAP by no later than January 7, 2019. Failure to complete it by that date may adversely impact first semester schedules or result in delays to accessing residence halls and obtaining parking permits. Students paying their confirmation fee after December 21, 2018 are expected to complete the MAP as soon as possible to avoid similar delays to their matriculation.
