Placement Testing

If you have not yet taken the math and/or chemistry placement test and need to do so, testing will be offered the morning of your orientation program. Please arrive at the testing site in Caputo Hall by 7:45 a.m. for the math placement test. The chemistry placement test will be administered in Caputo Hall at 9:15 a.m.

If you have already taken the necessary placement tests or do not need to take placement tests, please refer to the "Checking-In" section below.

Check-in for the formal orientation program will be available in the Student Memorial Center Robert L. Slabinski Atrium starting at 9:00 a.m. You are invited to take time before the welcome to browse the Transfer Student Resources Fair and have your student ID photo taken for your Marauder OneCard.

Parking is available in all lots on the day of your orientation without a parking sticker or permit. You may park in any legal space designated with white lines. Please reserve handicap-designated parking spaces for those individuals with the appropriate tags. The lots closest to the Student Memorial Center (SMC) are the James Street parking lot (also known as the McComsey Hall lot), and the SMC lot off of Shenks Lane.

Orientation fee

Transfer students are required to attend orientation much in the same way that students are required to attend classes. A fee of $50 is included in your semester bill to cover the expenses associated with the program. Our commitment to campus service providers and material costs prevents the issuing of refunds should you be unable to attend the program.
