Mary Margaret Kelly obtained her Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology at Virginia Commonwealth University. Prior to coming to Millersville University, she practiced at the University of Virginia and the Medical College of Virginia where she directed the APA – approved doctoral internship in clinical psychology.

Her major areas of interest include group and individual psychotherapy as well as studies in psychopathology. Her research interests include the psychological adjustment of adoptees as well as studies of human altruism and creativity.
