WHO WILL FOLLOW-UP WITH THE STUDENT?
Key members of the Student Success Care Team will be responsible for coordinating outreach once an early alert is initiated for a member of the target populations.

WHEN CAN I SUBMIT A CONCERN?
Faculty can submit feedback at anytime before November 11, 2016, but the earlier, the better. As soon as you can identify a concern with a student, it is important to submit it.

WHAT IF MY CONCERN IS NOT LISTED OR I HAVE RECOMMENDATIONS?
Faculty are also allowed to make comments or check recommendations in the system. (Recommendations or comments are not seen by students.)

Faculty should email studentsuccess@millersville.edu for non-academic concerns and/or concerns that require immediate action.

WHAT HAPPENS AFTER I SUBMIT A CONCERN?
AVP-Student Success & Retention

  • AVP will send faculty member an email verifying alerts received and confirming follow-up is underway for the student.
  • AVP sends personalized email to student with attached report of alerts received only and copies appropriate member of the Student Success Care Team.
  • AVP sends Student Success Care Team a complete list of alerts along with recommendations and comments for their population of students.

Student Success Care Team

  • Student Success Care Team disseminates information to appropriate stakeholders (academic advisors, coaches, outreach counselors, team embers, etc.) for personalized follow-up, referral, and/or meeting scheduling.

WHAT HAPPENS AT THE END OF THE PILOT?

  • Faculty, students, and Student Success Care Team members will have the opportunity to provide formal feedback about the pilot.
  • The campus community will receive results of the pilot in January 2017.
