The creation of the IRS Education Tax Credit (also called the Hope and Lifetime Learning Credits) provides tax credit for eligible students or their families. A MU 1098-T Form will be mailed to all students of record by Jan 31st showing all financial information required if you are taking the credit. If you need a duplicate of information provided on the original 1098-T Form, please use MAX to obtain the details. Enter your User ID (M# on your student ID card or your SS#) and PIN. For first time users your pin number is your six digit birthdate (example: January 12, 1963 would be 011263). After you input your PIN and ID:

1. Select - Student Services and Financial Aid
2. Select - Bursar-Student Accounts
3. Select - Federal Tax Notification / 1098T Data
4. Input Tax Year
5. Print
